Two families representing six Wamboin riders took part in the annual Michelago Sporting Spectacular held over two days. The riders achieved the following overall results:
- 9 years & Under: Charlie Durr 8th out of a field of 12
- 11 years: Jack Durr 4th out of a field of 10
- 13 years: Penny Slater 3rd and Ally Durr 7th out of a field of 12
- 15 years: Lauren Slater Overall Champion for this age group out of a field of 14
Associates: Katie Slater 6th out of a field of 27
Katie also made the final of the open flag race, making her one of the 5 fastest flag racers on the day.
